POODLEPEDIGREE.COM is an open database for pedigree information on all varieties of Poodles.  Many Poodle breeders and fanciers maintain their own pedigree databases for pedigree research.  This web site functions as a similar tool, except that it is editable by many breeders and can be viewed by anybody.  By combining our resources, we can accumulate a much larger set of data in a shorter period of time than any one breeder working independently.

POODLEPEDIGREE.COM is not a registry.  Registries are organizations like the AKC, UKC, CKC, KC, etc., which register dogs  for a fee and keep extensive pedigree records.  POODLEPEDIGREE.COM is merely a database.  Most of the dogs in this database are probably registered with one or more registries, or they may not be registered at all.  Pedigree information may be entered by any registered user, not just the owner or breeder of the dog.  We do not review the information and we make absolutely no claims as to its accuracy.  POODLEPEDIGREE.COM is a good place to start your pedigree research, but if accuracy of information is important, you should independently verify the accuracy of the information you find.

To verify the accuracy of pedigree and other information, here are some useful sources:

• Registries like the AKC, CKC, UKC, etc. can be used to verify pedigree information for registered dogs.
• Health clearances may be verified at health registries such as OFA and CERF.
• The breeder(s) and/or owner(s) of the dog may be consulted.
• Privately maintained databases may contain more accurate information. 
• The PCA collection of Poodles In America  also contain a wealth of information.

By using this site, you agree not to publish, post, upload or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory or unlawful information.

Certified Testing Notice

Entries of CLEAR BY PARENTAGE are not allowed. The dog MUST have a clearance from OFA/CERF or other recognized organization i.e. MSU.

Only enter a dog’s cleared/normal information and the health clearance numbers listed with the appropriate certification organization. This information is public and listed in OFA/CERF databases.
If you enter any abnormal clearance into the database, even though that result is listed with OFA/CERF OR if you put in any information that does not equal the listed results on the corresponding certification database, you are infringing on the dog's owner's right to confidentiality even though they may have signed a permission for the listing with the OFA and you (the PERSON WHO ENTERED ABNORMAL RESULTS) may be liable. A history of all changes is kept by this database of what information is entered; who entered that information and the date and time the information was entered.
 

This database consists entirely of information provided by end users.  The providers of this site hereby disclaim any liability for the accuracy or meaning of any such information provided in the site.  Users hereby agree to use or rely on such information at their own risk.

We provide no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy of any such information, and user agrees to hold the site operator or any successor or representative thereof harmless from any claim of liability or damage resulting from use of any information provided for any purpose, personal or commercial.
